Product Engineer - AT&T Corporate Information Technology Services (CITS) Product Engineering & Design (1993 - 1994) * Responsible for providing company wide support for the CITS DB2 Connect service and the Oracle SQL*Net communication product. * DB2 Connect allowed an Oracle database user on UNIX to have access to a DB2 database on MVS via TCP/IP using Oracle SQL*Net and Oracle SQL*Connect to DB2. * Certified new releases of Oracle products on various UNIX platforms (Sun, HP, NCR). Database Administrator - AT&T Virtual Telecommunication Network Services (VTNS) Billing / Customized Reports (1989 - 1993) * Designed, implemented and maintained a complex DB2 database with nearly 100 tables and more than 60 million rows. * This database was used to generate customized reports in COBOL for external VTNS customers. Developer / Project Leader - AT&T WATS Information System (WIS) (1983 - 1989) * Participated in the re-engineering of WIS from an IMS hierarchical database to a Teradata relational database. * Developed an on-line FOCUS database system on VM/CMS that provided access to WATS/800 data for more than 1000 users across the country. * Project leader for a group that provided ad hoc reports in RAMIS using WIS data. ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE: Part-Time Lecturer - Rutgers University (1984 - present) * Extensive experience teaching introductory mathematics to undergraduates. * Courses taught include: Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, Elements of Algebra and Pre-Calculus. * Typical teaching load has been two 3-credit courses each semester and one course over the Summer.
